We return to our regularly scheduled programming
We go live in...5...4...3...2...1
Thanks for joining us - after a short time of suspended programming, LaCombe Chronicle News returns to the air!
LCN retains exclusive rights to all the news that's fit to print related to the LaCombe family. Even while our studios were moving, our force of field correspondents were shadowing the first family. We begin our broadcast with a series of updates. Standing by in Lafayette, Louisiana is Les Nessman.
Thanks, Dan...The coldest winter I ever spent was this summer in Lafayette, Louisiana. Crowds wander aimlessly as they reflect upon the corporate relocation of William Noel Enterprises.
Prince William and his faithful parental support team said farewell to the town where the legacy began. Piles of party streamers and empty snow cone containers are all that remain on streets once heavily populated by adoring fans.
Facts are still somewhat fuzzy...but here's what we know so far:
- Will's dad accepted a job offer from Laerdal Medical Corporation - Based in Norway and with US facilities in New York and Texas, the firm is a world-leader in providing manikins, software, books, models, and high-tech simulators that help teach others to save lives.
- In consultation with William Noel, the family decided to relocate to Wappingers Falls, NY.
- DML and KC gave notice to their local employers.
- Local rebels initiated an uprising in protest but were quickly disbanded by government forces.
- DML trained in Texas for two weeks then returned to Lafayette for an evening before driving to NY - in a desperate prank...rebels lengthened the State of Virginia...nearly trapping DML.
- KC and Prince William went into hiding at the family retreat...reportedly located in Mississippi. A complete media blackout was ordered by William Noel's press secretary.
- After 192 hours of seclusion- the Prince and Lady Kathryn were seen boarding a semi-private plane...destination unknown but believed to be somewhere in the Northeast.
- DML wisked the family to a chalet in Connecticut.
- The family awaits closing on their new home in New Windsor, New York. Estimated closing is mid-July.
And so, desperate minutes pass as we wait for the first family to emerge. My sources tell me that it shouldn't be long before faithful supporters see their favorite son...a sign that summer may return to Lafayette.
In Cajun Country...I'm Les Nessman.
