Soccer Finale!
Our soccer season finale was rained out! However, our little superstar was one of the few athletes on hand to receive his trophy, certificate, soccer balls and cones!
Elmo's Green Thumb
Sesame Street Live presented "Elmo's Green Thumb" recently, so Mommy and William headed to Westchester County for a little date! What a way to spend a morning!!
We arrived at the theatre early and found our seats! Someone already talked Mommy into buying a treat... one of the light up whirly things with Elmo on it!
William cheered and danced during the first half of the show. Then, intermission arrived and out come the Elmo balloons. From our previous experience, we knew this would happen. Last time we attended, William was only about 18 months old, so he didn't ask for a balloon. This year was different. When he saw them he said, "Mommy, I want an Elmo balloon." So, off we went to get one.
Halloween 2008!
Firefighter William was in his glory this Halloween season! He wore his outfit nearly everday, whether there was a party or not!
The debut of the costume... we are getting ready for a Halloween party that one of our friends hosted!
Firefighter William (second from left on top row) with his classmates. His friend Ryan was also a firefighter!
A little video of the Halloween parade... our firefighter really struts his stuff!
After the school party and a much needed nap, we carved our pumpkins. When William woke up, he said, "it's Thursday, let's carve pumpkins!" He remembered what we promised him!
Confession time... we only carved two of the above pumpkins... guess which two??
Firefighter was so excited to bring his pumpkins outside and light them!! Mr. Fire Safety made sure all was well before he went out to trick or treat!
William really enjoyed trick or treating this year. He took his Daddy up and down our block. According to reliable reports, he said, "trick or treat" at each house and said "thank you" when he left! He couldn't wait to start eating all his treats... a candy diet on Halloween night... oh well, they are only little for a short time!
