Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!

Friday Night Fun!

Hello Everyone,

Daddy has been so busy lately; he's been traveling coast to coast for work. I told Mommy that we needed to do something special for the ol' guy, especially since his birthday is this weekend. So, on Friday night, we picked him up after work, grabbed a bite to eat (healthy of course, you know how my mom is these days), and headed straight to my favorite play place!!

All work and no play makes Daddy a dull Daddy!

So, how many Pookahs can you fit into a little car?

I had to show the ol' man my moves! Slam dunk!

Sim-Police car...

The ball pit... my favorite!

Dad, I can do it myself... I am a big boy, you know!

We had a great time!

Love,

William Noel

What a week!

What an interesting week we have had!!

Exactly a week ago today, William and Mommy spent the afternoon outside enjoying 70 degree weather! All of the snow melted leaving various mud puddles in the yard. What is it about a mud puddle and a boy -- they always find each other? It's true!!

I love the wind in my hair, the warm air, and finding mud puddles!!

Now that the snow melted, I can use my snow shovel for all sorts of things... like shoveling mud!

We have big rocks in our yard? Who knew? I thought these were piles of snow!

Whoa!! More snow!!! St. Patrick's Day 2007
I am glad I didn't put away my snow shovel!

I had to help Daddy shovel the snow and make paths in the driveway so we could get our cars out!!

Checking out the work the ol' man completed... seems fine.

Still some things to be done around Mommy's car... those two better get to work! I did my part. I dusted the snow off the bumpers!

What a sight! Breakfast attire on Monday morning... our boiler went out overnight so I had to bundle up!!

Sesame Street Live!

Our Sunday afternoon was filled with thoughts of Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster as we drove to see "Sesame Street Live: Elmo's Coloring Book"!

The Boys are eagerly anticipating the start of the performance. William made Daddy chase him around the entire arena and up and down the main aisles!! He did stop to waive at the lights!

The Boys went to get a couple of surprises -- a toy for Pookah and cotton candy for Mommy and Daddy!!!

The Elmo toy spins and lights up... both boys were impressed!

The performance -- William was a bit unsure when the lights went down and the music played loudly. However, he quickly acclimated and had a wonderful time!

This may seem like an uneventful photo; however, it is quite significant. ELMO had just visited with William! ELMO patted William on the shoulder. If you look carefully, you can see a spot of red right above Will's head. Mommy pointed the camera, but ELMO was just too quick!

Mommy and William during the show!

One of The Palettes (coloring book, art, colors, palette... get it!) visited with the children on the aisles...

... she also patted William on the shoulder... but the camera was too slow... notice the polka dot dress.

The Elmo balloons were the rage during intermission. The lines stretched along both sides of the auditorium. We just admired the ones others purchased!

The Pookah Family during intermission... young William was getting tired!!

What a great way to spend the afternoon together and to welcome Daddy home!!

Round 1: Layering

It was bitterly cold this week, so Pookah had to bundle up before going to music class; it was 7 degrees outside with a wind chill of -15 degrees. Ever the good sport, William undergoes the first round of layering - sweater, scarf, hat... and he's still smiling!

Just a note, when it's time to put on his coat... he runs away with his arms waiving above his head, laughing, and trying not to get caught by the evil Coat Monster!!

Prince William visits one of his Kingdoms

Because of the all the bitter cold weather and snow, Prince William has been feeling a bit, well, couped up lately. Yes, he goes to music class and play class, but he needed to get out.

So, Mommy decided that the young Prince of LaCombe needed to visit one of his Kingdoms, Kids Kingdom, that is. William spent hours (literally) surveying all of the subjects of his desire.

After the outing, he was pleased to report that all is well in the land.

"Driving is serious business"

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

GO WILL! Two points!

All is well in the land of William!

Feeling Crabby

See what happens to a poor soul who spends time "working" in Baltimore without the rest of the Pookah clan... poor, poor Dave... feeling crabby!

Mr. Mischievous

William loves to play in the pantry... why?... we're not sure. This morning, he decided that he wanted to play with the pasta...

PS. The flooring will be redone with the kitchen remodel... we can't wait!!!

Many Faces of William

Mr. Serious?

Sly smile...

Oh Man...

Mr. Coy

Happy Boy!!

One afternoon last week, William and Mommy had a dinner date with Daddy. So, we waited for him to finish his workday. While waiting, Master William was quite the ham!!

Bye, Bye, Buffington

Buffington our Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye
Saying don't you cry
I'll be back again some day!
